Liliane CLOÂTRE
Founder and Principal Consultant
“More than 30 years of experience in strategy, project development and operational management in the fields of circular economy, energy transition, sustainable development and hydrogen”.
After starting her career at TOTAL Refining in the field of toxicity and treatment of industrial effluents, Liliane CLOÂTRE spent 7 years in the German group Lobbe owned by the Edelhoff family in order to ensure the development, in France and Southern Europe, of the group’s range of activities, from waste oil recycling, waste treatment and recovery and the sale of containers and collection vehicles for industrial and household waste.
She joined the HOLCIM cement group in 1996, in lobbying and senior consultant positions in charge of developing the Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) business in the EMEA region. In particular, she contributed to the creation of EUCOPRO (European association for COPROcessing) and the public-private partnership with GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
In 2006, she moved to SARP Industries group (Veolia) in various international development management positions in the field of waste recovery and treatment, leading numerous M&A processes, and headed the Waste Management Switzerland business as the CEO between 2010 and 2012.
From 2012, Liliane coordinated the development of Energy Services for the EDF Group’s Continental Europe Division, including M&A processes in Belgium, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic.
Finally, Liliane joined the EDF Group’s Hydrogen intrapreneurship project in 2018 and was appointed Head of Business Development of the newly created subsidiary Hynamics. In this role, she led the development of numerous hydrogen ecosystem projects (mobility and industry), in France, Belgium and Germany mainly. As Project Director, she coordinated the Auxerre project in France and the Westküste 100 project in Germany, obtained national subsidies (ADEME, Region, BMWi) and ensured the implementation of these first 2 hydrogen projects for Hynamics.
